Daily Baby sketches..!

I've been so bad at keeping up to date with things on here!! I'm sorry blogger! :( One day I will actually organise myself properly in terms of social media at least..

For the meantime, here are a few sketches I have been doing as a daily drawing project (which you can view in full on my tumblr) Please go there to check the sketches out too.

And yes.. there are some Doctor Who related 'Daily Babies' in there too... as well as one from the musical, "Next to Normal" which I have listened to a billion times this year.. (it's amazing everyone should watch/listen to this. London please bring it to the stage here pleaseohplease???)

 Hope you like! :)

Christmas Cards 2012!

My univeristy friends and I all decided that this year, instead of presents, we were going to draw one another a Christmas card instead! So here are the photos of the illustrations I painted (with gouache paints) for each of them. More photos of these can be found on my tumblr here.

Daenerys Targaryen - Game of Thrones

Doctor Domo! (Matt Smith version)

Mabel Pines - Gravity Falls

Merida - Brave

Tooth and Baby Tooth - Rise of the Guradians

Violet Crawley, Dowager Countess of Grantham - Downton Abbey

A photo of all the cards together!

Spoilers...

I don't even know why I drew this...

I don't even like River Song that much. I find her annoying tbh.

But I am excited to see what happens in episode 4; "The Wife of the Doctor".

Excited for series 6!! :)

Yet Another DrWho SketchDump...

I completely forgot about these!

The top 2/3 of sketches were done over Xmas 2010...Forgot to scan etc.

The bottom sketches were done a few nights ago when I was able to catch "The Pandorica Opens" episode on BBC3. I miss it! Can't wait for the next series! I need more drawing material! :)

Merry Smithmas!

A little late perhaps....but a merry christmas to one and all! :D

A very rough livestream drawing done a few nights ago of the Doctor and Amy.

Amy has just given the Doctor a hand-knitted jumper (with a very groovy tardis on the front ;D ) to him, for his Christmas present.

(Though it's fair to say she probably didn't knit it herself.... She most likely got a friendly local granny in Leadworth to help her out... )

I enjoyed the Doctor Who Christmas Special, though I wasn't completely enthralled by it to be honest. It could have been more "magical" like the past series. Though I did love the "underwater/fog fish" idea, and of course it was lovely to have it on TV again! To see the characters once more! The next series looks AMAZING. I am way too excited for that to begin!

Happy Holidays everyone

More Dr Who Sketches

Some DoctorxAmy sketches I drew the other day...and some Kaname (from Vampire Knight) sketches in there too :P
I love drawing the Doctor and Amy. They are so damn cute. I'll probably keep on saying this, but it's true. :)

I have been drawing the VK illustration all day (as mentioned on my deviantart journal/poll) I've done the line art, so I'll start colouring it tommorow. I'm excited for the end result! :)

Doctor Who: Matt Smith

I've only just started to watch Doctor Who with Matt Smith and Karen Gillan, and I'm really loving it. Matt Smith is absolutely adorable and so is Karen. I think I'll have to go back and watch some past series. I really can't believe I missed David Tennant's episodes, I love him!
Anyway...Sketches...

I *attempted* to colour it in PS7 quickly... Forgive the poor quality!

Better get on with other stuff! More Doctor Who fanart is imminent though!
